Private peer threads on AI, ads, social, and more.
Every membership includes access to all six circles — you don't pick one. Drop into Automation & AI when you're stuck on a workflow, Digital Ads when a campaign is leaking money, Social Media when you want a second pair of eyes on a post.
Conversation lives on the site — not in a Slack you'll forget to check or a Facebook group that pushes notifications you didn't ask for.
Anything that doesn't fit a circle. Open kitchen.
Share what's working. Steal what works for someone else.
Organic strategy, content critique, what's working now.
Building audiences, partnerships, and word-of-mouth.
Tools, prompts, and workflows that actually save time.
Paid media tactics across Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn.
You've been thinking out loud at your laptop and missing the back-and-forth of a thoughtful coworker.
You want one-on-one consulting. Stars is a peer community, not a service.
You'd rather ask someone who's run the same play than read a Reddit thread at midnight.
You're looking for done-for-you. Stars is a place to learn out loud.
You want peers, not employees — people who understand the work without competing for the same clients.
You're hoping to pitch services. We're here to learn together.
I started May Media twelve years ago because I wanted to do marketing the way it should be done — with care, with the actual business owner in the room, with budgets that didn't disappear into a black box.
Two hundred-plus campaigns later, the question I get asked most isn't "what's the best ad platform" or "what's the right SEO strategy." It's some version of "can I just talk this out with someone who's done it before?"
Stars is the room I wished existed when I was running marketing for the first business I ever loved. Six circles, a directory of peers, monthly playbooks. No Slack pings. No Facebook algorithm. Quiet by default. Useful when you need it.
If you're doing the work, I want you in the room.

Locked in for as long as you stay a member.
Three things. First, Stars lives on its own site — not in a feed that’s monetizing your attention. Second, conversation is organized by topic in six private circles, not chronological chaos. Third, the people in the room are vetted (paying members tend to show up differently than free-group lurkers). It’s not the loudest community. It’s the one you’ll actually open.
All six discussion circles, the searchable member directory, monthly Library drops, in-depth video content, four quarterly events, and member coupons. Everything we add later is included too, at your locked-in price.
No free trial — keeping the room paid is part of what keeps it good. The closest thing is the cancel-anytime policy: try it for a quarter, and if it’s not for you, cancel before the next renewal and walk away with whatever you took from it.
You can cancel anytime from your account dashboard — no exit interview, no retention emails. Your access ends at the close of your current quarter. If you rejoin later, you rejoin at the Standard rate ($297/quarter), since Founding pricing is reserved for continuous members.
Not at launch. We’re recording the first four course modules now. When courses release, members get them at a discount; non-members can buy them à la carte. The Coaching Kit is a separate one-time purchase.
Four events a year — one Online Coffee Chat (Zoom), one In-Person Lunch & Learn (recorded for remote members), one Live Q&A, one Hot Seat (Zoom). The in-person event is recorded; the Zoom events are live-only by default but we may post highlights.
Cancel anytime, effective at the end of your current quarter. We don’t issue partial refunds, but you keep access through the period you paid for.
Founding pricing closes January 2027. After that, $297/quarter for new members.
